Obituary: Chicken Little

Chicken Little, of The Bottom, died at the age of five. An accident took his life when innocent child’s play turned tragic and he drowned. Unfortunately, due to his extremely short life, Chicken Little’s accomplishments were few and little is known about him and his family except that he was beloved by his mother.

Unfortunately, we were informed that Chicken Little's body was severely mangled and decomposed when he arrived to his mother. Story has it that the white men who found the boy's body dragged him in the water, making Chicken Little bloat and look deformed. Its sad how still we see racism transcend through death. Even after the poor boy died, he was still discriminated and treated without respect just because of his skin color.
